- Indian Patents and Designs Act, 1911 relating to patents is hereby revoked and shall be amended with this act specified in the Schedule.
- Certain particular matters in this section shall not cause any damage (prejudice) to the general application of General Clauses ACt, 1897 because of the revocation of the older act.
- Despite anything mentioned in this act, any case (suit) for infringement or revocation of a patent which is pending in any court at or before the commencement of this act shall be continued and disposed off as per the old act (considering as if this act has not been passed.).
