Advanced design search service of Inanse IP shall be performed through various design databases available across the world from different countries including the Indian Design Application Information Retrieval System and Global Design Database from WIPO.

OTHER DESIGN AND ANALYTICAL SERVICES
ATTENDING TO HEARINGS BEFORE THE CONTROLLER
As per the prescriptions under the Designs Act, 2001, any registration of design for which a protection is sought shall not be registered / granted without an examination. The result of the examination process of a design application shall be the issuing of a First Examination Report or the First Statement of Objections for which the applicants or the agent of the applicants shall reply within 6 months or with an extended time of 3 month (based on request) from the date of issuing such a statement.
If the controller is not satisfied with the reply so submitted for the statement of objections, he may issue a further statement of objections or make an order the applicants or the corresponding agent to appear for hearing before him which can be attended to either in person (physical hearing) or on video conferencing or audio visual communication modes upon a confirmation along with payment of the prescribed fee to the Designs Office in order to attend the hearings.

FILING PETITIONS / REQUESTS
Any requests or petitions, other than those prescribed to be submitted only through the concerned Forms shall be made only through requests and petitions to the Indian Designs Office with regard to Designs under prosecution or those Designs Registered / Granted
